The Cliffs at Walnut Cove: Just south of Asheville in Arden, NC, The Cliffs at Walnut Cove is a gated community spread out over 940 acres of custom homes and homesites. A Jack Nicklaus signature course at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove opened in 2005
The Cliffs High Carolina: Swannanoa, NC, The newest Cliff's community located in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, NC. This community boasts Tiger Woods' first American designed golf course.
Champion Hills: Located near Hendersonville, Champion Hills is a Tom Fazio design which the architect hails as “the perfect representation of my design philosophy.” Ranked the 10th best course in North Carolina by Golf digest, Champion Hills features 14 holes that play downhill. The surrounding Champion hills Community spans more than 700 acres of hardwood and pine trees and offers wooded, golf and Mountain View homesites. The community also includes a club with tennis courts, fitness center and swimming pool.
High Vista Country Club: A unique, gated, country club community offering 1+ acre lots and resale’s on 665 acres. Both mountain-view lots and golf course-view lots available (some with both!).
Kenmure Golf Community: Kenmure is a vibrant community with unique architecture, numerous club activities, and a natural beauty that envelopes you in the relaxing atmosphere of the South.

Reems Creek: The most unique mountain golf experience is located only minutes away from Asheville, in a beautiful valley completely surrounding by the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Rated four stars by Golf Digest, Reems Creek Golf Club offers 18 holes, a clubhouse and grill, a swimming pool and tennis court in addition to its spectacular views and lakes.
Country Club of Asheville: This course was founded in1894 and later redesigned by Donald Ross. With rolling hills and undulating greens, the course is recognized by USGA and GOLF Magazine as one of the first 100 clubs in the country.
Biltmore Forest County Club: In the center of Biltmore Forest, one of the wealthiest towns in the country; lies Biltmore Forest Country Club. The course was designed by the preeminent golf course architect Donald Ross. The course is characterized by its rolling landscape and scenic views of the mountains. Water comes into play on seven holes.
Asheville Municipal Golf Course: Opened in 1972, this course is one of the oldest in Western North Carolina and remains one of the busiest, perhaps because of its affordability. Providing golfers with a leisurely walk on the front nine, the course, designed by Donald Ross, becomes increasingly more strenuous on the back nine.
Etowah Valley Country Club: Located just west of Hendersonville on U.S. 64, the course was named in Golf Digest’s Top 50 Golf Destinations. Calling itself “a golfer’s paradise,” this course is located on a mountain plateau and features bent grass greens as large as 9,000 square feet. The original 18 holes follow a classic design, but the newest nine offer variety and are significantly more challenging.
Laurel Ridge: Laurel Ridge Country Club boasts an 18-hole course designed by Robert Cupp featuring bent grass, undulating greens, lush tree-lined fairways and spectacular panoramic views highlighting the course. Amenities include tennis, swimming, dining as well as the Pavilion on the Knoll.
Maggie Valley Club Golf Course: This established 6500 yard course includes 30 acres of fairways located in Maggie Valley near Waynesville, NC. This master- planned golf community features custom built homes, family-style cottages, and condominiums. Amenities include a fitness and recreation center complete with tennis courts and heated pool.
Red Fox Country Club: When you cross over into the foothills of the blue ridge, the hustle and noise of the modern world disappears. Here in the Tryon, NC, people will take time to savor life's rewarding monments. Located in the heart of Horse Country in the foothills of The Blue Ridge Mountains.
Cummings Cove: This master planned development features an 18-hole golf course, pro shop, tennis, pool and two gated entrances surrounded by beautiful mountain views. Located just west of Hendersonville, this private community features custom homes, estate homes, as well as villas and cottages.
Black Mountain Golf Club: Bent grass greens and plush fairways add to the attraction of this great municipal golf course located at the foot of the beautiful Black Mountain range in Western North Carolina.
The Hendersonville Country Club: This club features a beautiful Donald Ross course that Tom Fazio redesigned in 1990. With tree-lined fairways, the course also includes lots of sand bunkers and water hazards.
